4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large microwaveable coffee mug
Directions
Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly
Pour in the milk, oil, and mix well
Add chocolate chips (if using)
and vanilla extract, and mix again
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT!

Happy St.Patrick's Day
Fact # 1: The color green was not the original color representing the holiday. It was actually blue. I’m sure someone somewhere can explain that one a little better, but I don’t really get why we ever changed it. I mean I read the reason but it still doesn’t make sense.
Fact # 2: The Three leaf clover was said to have been used by St. Patrick as a prop to explain the trinity of God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirt. This is an interesting fact that definitely makes sense. Not sure how we could get a drinking/bash holiday out of that!? (kind’a sad)
Fact # 3: If St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday, the Catholic Bishop in your town has the right to release everyone from staying away from red meat that day.
Facts about Clovers (from http://holidays.kaboose.com/saint-patricks-day/quick_facts.html)
According to the Guinness Book of World records, the highest number of leaves found on a clover is 14!
One estimate suggests that there are about 10,000 regular three-leaf clovers for every lucky four-leaf clover.
Legend says that each leaf of the four leaf clover means something: the first is for hope, the second for faith, the third for love and the fourth for luck!

Fourth Quarter is here!
Wow I can't believe it's fourth quarter already! This has actually been a really good year! It's really crazy that we only have 9 weeks left! I guess now is crunch time! I've noticed that fourth quarter, teachers throw in everything that may have been forgotten throughout the year...:) However, when you're busy time goes my quicker! (not to rush time or anything:))
Life is good and God is Blessing me so much! He's such a good friend!

I don't get some people!
As we came into class this morning we saw about five movies under one of the desks. Of cource that caused a reaction from most of the class as it was out of the ordinary. Everyone gathered around the desk. They all looked at the movies and began to talk about them and how good they all were. Soon the teacher realized something was going on so everyone told him about their findings.
Things died down and the conclusion was that they would leave the movies under the desk and wait for someone to come looking for them.
However, as class went on I noticed the kid beside me typing something on his computer. I really shoudn't have read what he was typing, but it was big and red and I so I read. It went something like this;
"Today is a lucky day, and a lucky day for me. Someone left a bunch of movies under their desk, and before class ends I'm going to say they're mine!!!!"
Wow, isn't that weird!? Hmmm...? If you were a thief why would you leave a trail for people to find out? I'm not sure whether it was a journal, or if he was writing to a friend??? Anyway, the whole thing actually makes me laugh! Just had to share!!! :)

Slick Slick Slick!!!
The weather in South Dakota is so weird this time of year! One day it will be so beautiful you won't need more that a light hoodie. The next day however, it will be so bad school will be called off! Seriously, that's what happended this past week! Anyway, so you can just imagine how slushy, muddy, and then slick things get! So, this morning when we got up for school my mom had stayed up (she works nights) to let us know that the outside steps (which are kind'of long)were really slick and to be careful! She then went on to let us know that she was afraid one of us girls would go running to the car at the last minute and fall all the way down the steps, and possibly break something. We thanked her and went our way. However, as soon as we got outside my "graceful" brother went sliding all the way down the steps! (with trumpet, back pack, and laptop in hand)...It was really panicky because there was nothing any of us could do to help him. He then proceded to lay on the ground a little dazed and in A LOT of pain! Anyway...i guess the moral to that is listen to your mom when she stays up from a long night at work to let you know it's slick outside...! I guess that's really not fair though because he was actually being VERY careful!!! lol I know it's not funny, but it actually kind'of is!
