Finals!!!

Wow it's that time again!!! FINALS!
On the bright side, after finals are over... so is the semester!

Congrats To Me!!!

Wow I'm sooo proud of myself!!! I actually went and got my senior pictures ordered!!!! What's even more impressive than that is that I put my check down towards the payment!! I told myself that I would put ALL my money (emphasis on ALL) towards the bill until it was completely paid off! However usually when I tell myself I'm going to save my money or spend it WISELY, it never actually happens. :) $80.00 down $220.00 to go!!! Oh that's just until I have to order invitations...but I'm not gonna think about that right now! :)

This really isn't the best picture of Isaiah! This was during the parade of lights!

I love this picture of me and my mom so much!!!!! This was in the corn palace after the Parade of lights. The school choir sang christmas carols and there was free chili, cookies, and apple cider!

I got my senior pictures taken!!!

I got my senior pictures taken this past Saturday! It went so smooth! I had several different outfits that all blended really well. However, now that I have them back I really only like about one outfit. I like many of the poses in that outfit, but only in the one outfit. I loved the photographer he was so great! He reminded me so much of Santa! lol
Whenever I can get the time to post some more pics I will!

Just an update...

To me there are definately a lot of things going on in my life...but I have no clue how to begin to write about it all. Further, even if I could, who wants to read a long bunch of stuff about my every day life!?! Senior pictures

I just decided to give a little update about some upcoming events. #1 We don't have school tuesdays...and that's very noteworthy!!! #2 I am comepletely swamped with homework...another noteworthy thing! #3 My senior pictures are this Saturday!... Very noteworthy thing! I've got 3 outfits planned. For my first outfit I plan to be in a simple jean skirt with our black "09" senior shirt. My second outfit is going to be a little nicer, with a darker skirt, black shirt, and a hooded vest. Lastly, my third outfit will be dressy. I plan to wear a dressy black skirt and a orange and brown dressy shirt. Well, I'm sure I could've come up with some better outfits, but I'm trying to spend as little money as I can. I'm actually pretty proud of myself for the lack of money I've spent so far! Well, I guess I'll post again once I get them done, and tell how everything went. G'Nite for now!

First Snow Fall

Winter has finally come to South Dakota! It's actually been in the western part of the state, but we're just now getting it! Anyway, I'm absolutely loving the snow...and best of all...the WONDERFUL christmas decorations in wal-mart! I seriously could stay in the christmas section for hours! I actually did just that the other day!!! lol I'm not kidding! My family went to wal-mart the other day, and I spent the whole time in the christmas section dreaming! I finally decided to go look for my family a long time later. Needless to say they where furious when they finally found me! They were in the check out line!!! LOL They couldn't stay mad though because when my mom asked me where I was told her and she had to just laugh!!! Hey you can't get mad at someone for being excited about christmas!!! Tis the season to be jolly!!! ok...so it's not the christmas season yet...but hey, the snow is wonderful! Here's some pics of me and kimberly and Sophie's kids. It was late, but we just couldn't resist! I took Jess out and she said, "oh, I love snow, it's been way too long!" LOL I thought it was so funny!

What To Do After MAY???

Wow, this year is going by fast, and some things are starting to really hit me! The biggest being the fact that I really don't know what I'm going to do after I graduate. I *think* I've got it narrowed down to two things.

#1 option; GBS.

This is a very real possibility, that I'm seriously looking at. This option seems a very logical one. A major pro to this is that it's VERY close to all my family, that doesn't live in SD. Another pro is that it's bible school, and I would LOVE to get the experience! Plus, I heard Bro. Wolf say that next year is his last year at GBS! I really don't want to miss out on his legacy!!!!

#2 option is Lake Area Tech in Watertown, SD.

The reason I'm looking into this option, is because it offers an LPN program that you can finish in 11 months. Some pros to this is that Audrey and Jon live there, and it is much closer to home than GBS! Another thing is that I could go to GBS once I am done, and already have a career! The cons to this would be that I would like to get into GBS and *possibly* sing!!! However, if I wait to go I'll probably never do it. Also, as stated above, I'd miss out on Bro. Wolf!!!! Hmmm...much to think and pray about!?!

First day of internship!

Wow, I'm completely wiped out! so ya, I started my internship today, and it was alot of work! I don't think I've ever worked so hard in all my life! Ruby Tuesday is already a really busy restaraunt, but it's hunting season so it's wacko crazy! I'm so sore!!!!!! I must say, though,that it's partially my fault that I'm soooo sore! The uniform is all black with black shoes... soooo, until I get paid, the only decent shoes I have to wear all have like some sort of a heel or some other thing that makes them uncomfortable!!!!! Therefore, if I wouldv'e had better shoes on things wouldv'e gone alot better for me! ahhhhh I really don't care about the stupid black shoes rule! Until I get paid, I'm gonna wear comfy shoes regardless of the color!!!! welp, it's late and I've got homework!!!!
*On the bright side of life, I get free soda, 40% discount an hour before and after work for my entire table, and 15% all other times for my entire table!!!

Ruby Tuesday

I had my internship at Ruby Tuesday today, and it went really well! I was actually pretty surprised at how well I like the store manager! When I first went in he was busy with someone so I had to wait awhile. However, it wasn't to bad seeing that they gave me a free drink while I waited. I'm not sure what it is about being catered to at a fancy restauraunt, but it just makes me feel important! lol It felt so good to be sitting in Ruby Tuesday drinking a free drink! Lol I mean I felt like I was just defying... I'm not sure what I was defying, but I felt important! Lol I'm like the new chef, and I was being recognized! lol

Oh ya, I get paid! That sounds obvious, but it really isn't. With an internship they don't have to pay you, but they do here. When I asked Heath (the manager) if I was going to get paid, he was like "absolutetly, this is a job and I pay my interns." Lord willing I start this Saturday at 11:00.

Here's some of the most recent pictures of myself! I was actually in bed when the fam called for me to come down for kimmer and heidi's birthday. Sooo I slipped on a skirt and joined in on the fun. Actually, I look better in these pics then I looked, or at least how I felt! Hey, but the giant cookie was really good!!!!

2nd quarter

Well this year is going by incredibly quick, and for that I am thankful! I'm actually having a great year...but who likes school? I guess i'm glad I'm a senior, but i'd rather just be done. I'm not really into the whole "seniors rule" thing. Anyway, I've already been blown away with how expensive it is to be a senior. I mean seriously, I've had to buy an "09" hoodie and t-shirt, an "09" key chain... oh ya and a tassle to hang on my mirror. By the way it's illegal to hang anything on your rear view mirror in South Dakota... ya and the school sells them... wow what are they trying to tell us! However, it really doesn't matter seeing that my rear view mirror is non existant. It was like broken off when we first bought the car! lol Wow, no class! Well I've got an interview with the manager of Ruby Tuesdays here in Mitchell, tommorow. (this is for my internship) I'll post when I get more on that! Welp I guess that's all for now! God Bless!

The first day with my personal trainer

I set my alarm for 4:35 this morning, and actually got up when it went off! I seriously felt like dieing, but somehow survived. lol I somehow managed to stumble downstairs where a hot pot of coffee was awaiting my arrival! (thank God for timers) Yea, it was great, my dad set it to start brewing at 4:30 so it would be ready for me when I got up! I put on some sweats and a hoodie, grabbed my coffee and preceded to go outside and greet the freezing cold fall morning! I love the fall, but wow was it cold this morning! (brrrr) I made it to the gym by 5:00 and started warm ups shortly after! The following Hour (and 15 min. to be exact) went by quickly. I actually had fun and felt so refreshed! I Can't wait till Friday to do it all over again!
